The new SIDI SPORT office building and showroom is characterized by a strong personality and dynamism, the result of the managerial skills of an international leader in the sector of cycling and motorcycle footwear. Developed through a trapezoidal geometry, the street front is over 90 m long and it’s characterized by steel arches which, in addition to fulfilling the static function of supporting the roof, dictate the unique language of the facade, in a marked and unmistakable way, laser cut and joined in various segments with the aid of a special robot, which uses the technique of continuous wire welding, monolithic elements with a high degree of external finish. These architectural details have involved a three-dimensional study of the metal structure, made thanks to use a modern 3D calculation and design software. In the new headquarters, glass curtain walls were also installed, intersected by window and door solutions.
